Freeing the Spirit

Our shared goal for wings is a very attainable one. This can be gained through the oneness between body and soul. There is a beautiful science in which the physical being can become what the spiritual one is if connected.

*Before bringing your soul and body together, it is best to clean your spiritual body and form it to what you wish.*

This takes time and dedication. Be willing to go through the enlightening process and don't drop it once starting. To be successful you must pursue.

Begin with this guide from Healing Art Forms:

easy meditation

Once you are satisfied with your meditation routine, you can pursue higher powers within yourself. Try a hand in astral projection & traveling around in this realm or another. It is best to prepare your physical & spiritual self before this by meditating and opening your chakras. After opening your chakras, surround yourself in a protective white aura. Be sure to attract only good energies to yourself, this is done through putting yourself into a positive state of mind. Remember, you attract what you give out.

It is best to do all this when you have no physical obligations and you can feel free. Early morning (2 - 3) is ideal and suits me well. However, it is up to how you personally feel. Also seek out a place that appears spiritual strong to do your meditation. 'Tween locations are best, places where two merge (doorways, land and water meeting, sky and mountain meeting, etc.).

Free your spirit, and if not already, give it wings.

Spells for Growing: Bluebird Wings

So much for weekly, *sigh*, it's a process. Anyhow, here is another bird:

If you have requests, please share. Also, possessing feathers of your chosen bird for the spell is unnecessary, but could strengthen the connection.

Bluebird

(Beatrice from "Over the Garden Wall". She was turned into a bluebird and this is a depiction of her as an avian human with bluebird wings. "Over the Garden Wall" was a beautiful and tragic miniseries which I must admit I fell in love with, and I don't often watch Cartoon Network shows. It heightened my faith in the unknown.)

Mantra:

Of youth and the naive,
Soaring through meadows with few trees,
Happiness be thine,
Bluebird wings of mine.

Spell:

  • In the center of a drawing of the sun or on a candle, draw or carve a sigil that represents your desire for bluebird wings.
  • Cast a circle at sunrise and place the picture or candle in the center. (If using candle, light it)
  • Focus on what you want. Bluebirds represent happiness, youth, and rebirth. In Native American beliefs, bluebirds warded off winter, were the Sun's children, and spirits in animal form. Invoke the characteristics into your energy.
  • Chant:

"As the sun reveal and the wind doth blow,
May growth be steady and slow,
The warding song reach thy land,
Give me joy to withstand,
Feathers of cool and swift blue,
A heart that's true,
Wake I will to fly,
Wake I may up high,
With the rising sun my wings grow,
Winter chased by my bluebird wings."

Morning Meditation

Just as I meditate at night, I meditate in the morning. I do so for all the same reasons as nightly meditation.

  1. Helps increase my awareness
  2. Relaxes the mind and body, allowing the energy of growth to flow
  3. Improves spiritual wing strength
  4. Amplifies desire for wings

There is another song on YouTube I found which helps place my mind and soul into the right position. It is also perfect for energizing you for the day. When listened to in the morning, the song gives a boost to your autonomic nerves. I took a sports anatomy and physiology class and could give you notes and endless amounts of information on the autonomic nervous system; however I'll just present an overview for the important bits.

Our internal organs and muscles are regulated and controlled by this system. It is important for the "fight or flight" & "rest and digest" processes.

After meditating to the musical piece for two weeks, I have found that I feel more in control of my body and my surroundings. Not only does it prepare me to tackle the day, but it prepares me to tackle my wish. During meditation, I sit with my back straight, crossing my legs. I envision flying; feeling the cold wind battering at my hair, the weight of being held up, seeing any sights I please, and feeling my back muscles work my wings.

Here is a link to the song:

Just as in my previous post about a song, here is a link to convert to an mp3 for convenience:

Have a blessed day ^^

Morning Yoga

おはよう!

Not often do I have time time in the morning for yoga. I always rush, with having so many tasks at hand, mornings can be difficult to find time for yoga. However, even just doing so a few times a week, improves my flexibility and relieves stress.

When I lack stress, my mind, and body can focus more easily on the development of both my spiritual and physical wings.

Just listening to relaxing instrumental music and doing yoga with the rising sun increases my awareness and I feel helps prepare the body for the addition of wings. When the body goes through such changes, it is imperative to care for it.

  • Stay hydrated
Before and after doing yoga, be sure to drink plenty of water. Drinking water can also help with weight loss.

  • Beef up
Don't go overboard, but to build muscle and power your body, consume protein before. I eat oatmeal beforehand; and before the oatmeal is done cooking, I put a raw egg in and cook it until the outside is white, but the inside is runny.

  • Stretch
Just a warm-up. There isn't any solid proof that stretching before helps or doesn't. Personally, after stretching I feel more energized.

  • Relax
I am horribly guilty of rushing EVERYTHING. It is not good, even though I can complete tasks a bit quicker, I end up doing something wrong and throwing the entire process off course pushing me behind. Rushing attracts ungodly amounts of stress for me XD But just breath in slowly, through the nose and out the mouth. Allow the energy to flow gracefully through your body. I like imagining I already have my physical wings and how it would feel doing yoga with them.

  • Background Noise
Whether it is the sounds of the your surrounding environment, or an instrumental piece of music, it must be relaxing. The sounds can calm your nerves but boost the awareness of your senses. I personally enjoy Joe Hisaishi piano music (better known as music from Ghibli Studio movies). Otherwise I will do yoga outside and listen to the birds ^^
