Survival Aid

As an aeroly, you will face many difficult and troubling endeavors. I have laid out a simple and practical guide for your convenience.

1. Get a Flock

  • You don't need anything dramatic like a whole new family. However, being someone with wings you WILL feel alone. I don't care how much of an introvert you are (I myself am very much introverted), you won't feel complete until you have someone else who is like you.
  • You can find your flock easily through A. Flying a lot and thus running into another aeroly B. Utilizing telepathy to contact other aerolies C. Searching the internet for other aerolies (while also remaining discreet to avoid complications). You can use this website or others (including ones I provided in a list of links on this blog) in order to try contacting other aerolies.

2. Decide What You Want

  • How do you want to live? Among humans and living like a human, yet having the freedom of an aeroly? Or would you rather live apart from humans and doing your own thing (such as Sasquatches. These creatures live in our world but prefer to be separate from humans)? Maybe you desire a combination of both.
  • Don't just automatically choose the most appealing sounding choice (though keep it in mind). Meditate upon the circumstance and about what kind of person you are:
Do you have friends? Do you have a job? Are you easygoing with people and life? Are you happy/satisfied with simplicity and society? Please answer honestly, this is for your own well-being. If so, you'll probably do best remaining in human society. If you're still not sure, I like to use the television show "H2O: Just Add Water" as an example (xD). Seriously though, could you live how the three girls do? But with wings?

No matter how hard you try, does society reject you? Do you even care to remain in society? Are you eccentric in how you deal with things? Is a normal life/job/social life, not quite suited for you? Could you truly separate yourself from the material world and society? If these reflect you, you'll most likely feel better living apart from human society.

I personally do better with a combination of both. If you are like me, you are a bit of a loner, yet you have family you love and friends who come and go. You are a bit of a spiritual and material being, you just don't stay in one place, you're nomadic. You don't live by any rules but your own, yet you are cordial. Like I said, you would be nomadic, roaming in and out of the human and spiritual world. Quite frankly I just don't fit in with any society, and yet I get along just fine with all. Others like me are neither bridges nor dominant on either side; we are our own boats.

Being a nomadic aeroly, you'll face these issues:

  • You'll be short on money
  • Work is difficult
  • Unless you're flexible and able to just go with the flow, you'll be frazzled
  • You don't really have a set home
  • You'll be lonely yet surrounded by strangers

Being a nomad, you can either have a flock or not. I feel I may end up living without a flock. But I still hope to make friends with other aerolies.
